Danielle Daine West

Danielle West, 46, of Wildwood, Florida, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Born on July 24, 1979, in Gainesville, Florida, Danielle was a lifelong resident of Wildwood and a proud graduate of Wildwood High School.

Danielle dedicated her career to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Arbor Village, where her compassion, warmth, and gentle spirit touched the lives of many residents and their families. Her kindness and work ethic left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Outside of her work, Danielle had a deep appreciation for life’s simple and beautiful things. She found joy in collecting trinkets and treasures, exploring the wonders of geology, and immersing herself in nature—especially near the water, where she felt most at peace. Her curiosity and love for the natural world reflected her vibrant and nurturing soul.

Danielle is survived by her beloved children, Kashla Acosta, Antonio Acosta Jr., and David West; her cherished grandchildren, who were her pride and joy; and her loving siblings, Derrick West, Jennifer West, and Darren West. She will be remembered for her gentle heart, her laughter, and the way she made everyone around her feel loved and understood.

A celebration of Danielle’s life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and the beautiful life she lived.

Her spirit will live on through her family, her friends, and the countless lives she touched with her kindness and care.
