Danny Ray Pogue, 53, of Silver Springs, passed away July 8, 2013 at home. He was born on December 11, 1959 in Knoxville, TN a son to the late Terry Dean Pogue who preceded him in death and Patsy (Cardwell) Boatfield who lives in Silver Springs, FL. In addition to his father he was also preceded in death by a brother Gerald “JJ” Pogue. Danny belonged to the Ride For Jesus Cowboy Church and the Eagles. He loved to fish, and watch NASCAR and football. He leaves behind to cherish his memory in addition to his mother, grandmother Pauline Pogue, a son Michael Monroe in New Jersey, two brothers, Timothy Pogue of Jonesboro, GA and Terry and his wife Candy , a special aunt Becky Stenson of Jacksonville, FL and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A visitation has been scheduled for Friday July 12, 2013 from 1:00pm-2:00pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with the funeral to follow at 2:00pm also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Gentiva Hospice.
