Dixie Jewel Neuenschwander

Dixie J. Neuenschwander, 90, of The Villages, Florida died Saturday August 27, 2011 at her home. She was born on September 7, 1920 in Lima, Ohio a daughter to the late Thomas Crawford and the late Minnie Dean Crawford. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband and the father to her children Robert W. Moran and her last husband of 31 years Harry Neuenschwander, sons, Max Moran formerly of Springfield, Ohio and Daniel E. Moran formerly of Wapakoneta, Ohio, brothers Neil, Park, Mark, Dale and Jiggs Crawford and sisters Doris Galvin and Freda Holmes. Family remembers her belonging to the quilt club in The Villages and as the Treasurer for many years of the Cape Coral, FL bowling league. Survivors include sons and daughter-in-laws Robert and Marilyn Moran of Belleview, FL, Willard and Carol Moran of Lima, OH, Tim Moran of Lima, Ohio, Dennis and Judy Moran of Waynesfield, OH, daughters and sons-in-law Sandra and Gerald Kozlevcar of Findlay, OH, Janice Driskill of Summerfield, FL, Delores and Roger Copas of Cridersville, OH, a step-son and his wife Darrell and Jo Neuenschwander of Coldwater, MI, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren including Mrs. Shannon Sigmon, a Villages Charter preschool teacher, and sons Austin, Kyle and Corey Sigmon who attend the Charter School. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donation to Hospice of Marion County, FL. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
