Evelyn D Boucher

Evelyn D. (Plasse) Boucher, 85, of Ocala, Florida, passed away peacfully on March 23, 2014 at the Legacy Hospice house of Marion County. She was the beloved wife for 65 years to Rene C Boucher, Sr. She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church. Born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island on August 4, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Edouard and Laura (Jacob) Plasse. She was the loving mother of Rene C. Boucher, Jr. and his wife Mary Ellen of Cranston, RI, Suzanne Hughes and her husband, Robert of Sarasota, FL, Paul Boucher of Ocala, FL, Marc Boucher and his Marie of Belleview, FL and to the late Jeanne Boucher. She leaves her cherished grandchildren, Raymond Hughes, Laura Boucher-Potter, Keith Boucher, James Boucher, Jeanne Boucher, and Eric Boucher. She was the loving great grandmother of Zachary Volz, Marisa Vieira and Grace Potter. She is also survived by her sisters Lillian Beauregard of Lehigh Acres, Fl, Yvette Piette of Cumberland, RI, and Helen Menoche of North Smithfield, RI. She was the sister of the late Jeannette Gauthier of Bellingham, MA, the late Therese Monaghan of Pawtucket ,RI, the late Roland Plasse of Cumberland, RI, the late Lucille Desaulniers of North Smithfield, RI. Evelyn was a former resident of Woonsocket, RI. She was a supervisor at Tupperware of North Smithfield, RI. She was an avid bowler, belonged to many bowling leagues, loved playing cards, and enjoyed watching tennis. A Funeral has been scheduled for Thursday March 27, at 10:00am at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with visitation for one hour before. Burial will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL, at 12:30pm. The family suggests donations in lieu of flowers to Hospice of Marion County.
