

Gloria was preceded in death by her father, William Brown; mother, Anna Mae Hales; and step father, Harry Hales.
She was married to the love of her life Charles Thomason in November 1963, and lost him unexpectedly in an automobile accident in April 1993. She has missed him greatly everyday since then. Fortunately, since his passing his brother, Larry and wife, Jan have always cared for and loved Gloria.
She is survived by her daughter, Amanda (Chad) Roach, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Also left to cherish her memories are several nieces and nephews with their families and a host of friends.
Gloria was a member of Living Waters Worship Center where she was deeply loved and will be missed greatly. She was a faithful Christian who always wanted to share her love for Jesus.
A special "Thank You" to her neighbor Natalie that always checked on her and lover her dearly.
A very heartfelt "Thank You" to the ICU nurses at AdventHealth Ocala. They provided the best care for Gloria making sure all her wishes were honored.
Finally, a special "Thank You" to Pastor John Childers for the support and love to Gloria before, during and after her passing.

A visitation for Gloria will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 5740 South Pine Avenue, Ocala, Florida 34480. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. A committal service will then take place at 12:00 PM at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, 5740 South Pine Avenue, Ocala, Florida 34480.
