James Edgar Holmes, “Jim” of Ocala, Florida, age 73, passed away June 29, 2025. He was born May 4, 1952, in Missouri to Wallace and Rosemary Holmes. He was a salesman in the automobile and computer software industries.
He was preceded in death by his parents and older sister, Claudia Tracy McCarthy. He is survived by his daughters, Candace Johnson (Sam) of Gainesville, Fl and Jennifer Holmes-Kuyper (Steve) of Sarasota, Florida, sister Kathy DeLoach (Fred) of Winter Haven, Fl and brother John Holmes (Karen) of Winter Springs, Florida. He is also survived by his grandsons Wyatt Johnson and Garrett Johnson.
