James R. St Pierre

James R. St. Pierre, a retired supervisor for the Federal Government, died February 25. 2012 at 6:50 am at MRMC. He was born in Holyoke, MA. He moved to Ocala in 1978 from Summerville, SC. He was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church. Mr. St. Pierre was a member of the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association and was a US Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Gertrude St. Pierre and his loving wife of 60 years Ruby Branch St. Pierre. Survivors include his daughter Lisa A. Desmarais (Robert) and son Mark T. St. Pierre (Donna), both of Ocala, brother John N. St. Pierre, of North Palm Beach, FL, three grandchildren Christy Romero, Lecanto, FL, Melissa St. Pierre Bell (Ben), Morriston, FL, Robert Desmarais Jr. (Jennifer), Ocala, FL, great grandchildren, Michelle, Christopher, Kasey, William, Shawn, Ty, Cheyenne, Steven, Dylan, Bryce, Addison, Nathan and one great great grandchild Kyla. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Marion County or the American Cancer Society. A visitation has been scheduled for Monday February 27, 2012 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. The funeral will be on Tuesday February 28, 2012 at 10:00am also at the funeral home with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.Arrangements under the direction of Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Ocala, FL.
