Kathy Coker Strong, 72, a lifetime resident of Ocala, FL, passed away peacefully with family by her side. Kathy was born on February 12, 1953 in Ocala, FL. Kathy loved her family and raised her daughter as a single mother. She was hardworking and supported her family by selling building materials for Ferguson Lumber Company, Manning Building Supplies and Belleview Building Materials. She loved sunrises, sunsets and long drives. She loved all animals, especially her cat Charlie. She was sassy and stubborn but loved with her whole heart and was always there for those in need. Born to Horace and Mary Coker, Kathy was a life-long resident of Ocala. Proceeded in death by her husband Charles Strong, her parents, Horace and Mary Coker, her brothers Alvin, Frank, Bob and Wayne Coker and sister Betty Waltrous. She is survived by her only child Stacey Spivey (Brian) grandchildren Kaileigh Walton (Joshua) and Cody Skinner, her brother Rex Coker her sisters Ola Mae Seaton and Mary Dyal, along with many other nieces, nephews. She was loved and will be missed.
The graveside committal service will be held Thursday, October 30th, 3:00PM at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, 5740 South Pine Ave. Ocala, FL 34480.
