Leona was born in Elmira, New York, to Virginia Cleveland and Elmo Aldrich. She was raised in Millerton, Pennsylvania and attended Williamson High School. Later in life, she made Florida her home, where she built a life centered on faith, family, and simple joys.
Leona had a deep love for her church and found happiness in gardening, watching football, collecting strawberry-themed items, and cooking for those she loved. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Anita and Marvin Bester; her son, Norman Locey Sr. and Serena Crain. She is also survived by her grandsons, Joseph Locey, Jacob McDonald and Jeremiah McDonald, along with their spouses and children. Leona is further survived by her sisters, Dorinda Wachter, Darlene Wheeler, and Roxanne Gross, and by her brother, Arden Aldrich.
A visitation for Leona will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
