My condolences to the family. I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Ellington is by far one of my fondest memories in serving. I had the pleasure of working with him when I was a medic in the 53rd. We meet people everyday day and just never know the impact they will leave on us. He was nice enough to let me take pictures and gave grace as I was taking guidance while working with him as my patient. He was so polite and sweet. And I am grateful for his impact and memories. I pray for peace and ease on your family’s mind and heart. May you rest easy brother.

I can’t believe my cousin is gone. Micheal was a truly amazing guy. He had an incredible sense of humor. We grew up together in England. He was a few years younger than me, so we really got to know each other as we got older. Michael was a genuine guy, not a pretentious bone in his body. He laughed hard and loved hard. He had a connection with people that made them feel comfortable. He left an indelible impression. I worked alongside him for a year, at the department of Juvenile Justice. he was a self defense trainer. He was someone who took control of situations. People just loved him and had great confidence in him. Everyone was heartbroken when he left the company. He was just that kinda guy. I remember one time seeing him in Publix, I hadn’t seen him in a while, when he saw me, he just grabbed me and hugged me. He loved like that. I will miss him dearly. Everyone will miss him.  But he will live on in our hearts.

Love and condolences to the entire Ellington family.   My memories of Michael echo the whole family who are such gentle people. I am so saddened to hear of Michael’s passing. 

I have fond memories and the privilege of spending time with all of you as a child whenever my mother was in hospital.  I recall that once it was for so long, that I temporarily joined your school.  It was an honour to be part of your family who cared for me as your own.  

May God be your strength and comfort during this difficult time.

My cousin Michael is one the most honorable men I know. He is strong, kind, loving, a man of few words who loves the Lord with all of his heart. I will miss you my dear cousin, but look forward to seeing you again in the sweet bye and bye.

I had the opportunity to serve  with Michael on two occasions.  Both times, we did a great job and had some laughs doing it.  He always stuck out as a great Soldier and a great person.

My dear brother was the rarest of men.  A proud strong man, loving father and faithful brother and son.  His accomplishments speak for themselves. He was the best of the best and I shall carry his memory with me forever and always.

Ellington was a great coworker and friend. He once drove with me on a long haul trip, and we stopped to hike a bit. I’m pretty sure he beat me up this mountain. lol. He will be so greatly missed.

He was an amazing leader. A true inspiration. It was such an honor to serve and be mentored by such an amazing man. My heart goes out to the family. I am sorry for your loss. Your grief is shared by many who loved and served with him.
