Misael J. Orihuela

Mike was born on June 21, 1977 in La Habana, Cuba to Angela Fernandez and Jesus Orihuela. He migrated to Miami, FL with his family in 1980 when he was two years old. During his early childhood, he moved to Alloway, NJ, then to New Orleans, LA, and back to Miami, FL where he lived out the rest of his youth. In 1995, he graduated from Hialeah High School. In 1997, he met his girlfriend Amy whom he went on to marry and father 2 beautiful daughters with. In 2006, they moved to Ocala, FL and built their lives together.

Some of the things he found joy in were his car, watching movies, drinking coffee, and trying new foods. His favorite football team was the Miami Dolphins. He had a passion for traveling and was always ready for a new adventure. Above all things, Mike cherished his family and loved ones.

Despite the hardships he faced, Mike was still able to keep a smile on his face and always lived young at heart. He was a hard worker and always put others needs before his own. Those who knew him, knew him for his loving, caring, and funny personality. He was a devoted husband, father, and an unforgettable man who will always be deeply loved, remembered, and truly missed.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jesus; grandmother Ana; uncle Oscar; aunt Yolanda; and niece Amery.

He is survived by his mother Angela; stepfather Joel; wife Amy; daughters Ariana and Alexis; sister Raquel; brother Jesus; nieces Melanie and Lauren; nephews Ethan and Lucas; cousins John and Peter; as well as extended parents, sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
