Terrence F Jones

Mr. Jones was born on May 15, 1948 in Waterbury, CT. He was the son of the late William D. Jones, Sr. And the late Elizabeth (Finke) Jones. He was the husband of his late wife, Paula (Pistarelli) Jones, also of Brooksville.

He was preceded in death by his brother, William D. Jones, Jr. of Ocklawaha, FL as well as his two sisters, Elizabeth (Jones) Rice of Naugatuck, CT and Patricia (Jones) Cosgrove of Titusville, FL.

He survived by his sister-in-law Mary Ann (Dorner) Jones of Summerfield, FL, and several nieces and nephews.

He graduated from Naugatuck High School in 1966 and moved to Florida in February 1983. He was employed by the Florida Department of Transportation, District Construction Office, in Tampa, FL until he retired in 2010.

He was a member of the American Academy of Certified Public Managers and was an active member of the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts in Naugatuck, CT for over 25-years. He was also an active member of the Knights of Columbus and a 4th Degree Honor Guard in Belleview, FL and a member of the Council and Assembly in Port St. John, FL.

Memorial Mass information will be forthcoming at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Lung Association, Tampa, FL.
