William Robert “Bob” Windal Sr., born December 11, 1955, lost his battle with cancer on April 10, 2026. Bob was a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose life will be remembered by his family and those who knew him.
He shared 28 years of his life with his partner, Roberta. He also shared an important chapter of his life with Donna Windal, the mother of his children.
He was employed for 17 years with Paratransit, a role that was well suited to him. He took pride in his work and found purpose in helping others with transportation needs. He was often willing to provide rides to family, friends, and others when needed.
Outside of work, Bob enjoyed the simple routines and interests that reflected his personality. He was a lifelong supporter of the Philadelphia Eagles and followed the team closely through the seasons, sharing in both their challenges and successes. He also enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Phillies and appreciated the tradition and history of the club.
Bob is survived by his children, Stacy Laroche (Patrick), Jessica Windal (Marco Quintero), and William Windal Jr.; his partner, Roberta; and his former partner, Donna Windal.
He is also survived by his grandchildren: Alyssa Selser, Ashley Caceres, Brianna Bottorff, AJ Fester, Precious Conigliaro, Donna Nieves, Gaige Nieves, Matthew Rogers-Windal, Serenity Quintero, and Jayden Quintero; as well as his great-grandchildren, Sabirr Breon Jr., Nevaeh Hammil, Aleeyah Bottorff, Summer Fester, Octavia Conigliaro, Landen Earnest, and Ariel Nieves.
He will be remembered by his loved ones for his presence in their lives and the legacy of family he leaves behind.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Warrior Initiative in Bob’s honor.
