Alan Grossman, 71 of Ocean Township died Thursday at home. Born in Long Branch on November 23, 1943, he graduated from Long Branch High School in 1961. He was a member of the United State Navy Reserve, worked at his father's clam bar, JG's in Asbury Park; he was a bartender at the Surf Club in Long Branch and was the owner of Brookside Supply. He was a member of the Patten Point Yacht club and Long Branch Ice Boat and Yacht Club.He was predeceased by his parents Joe and Sonia Grossman. Surviving is his wife Gracie, his Sister and Brother-in-law Aarone and Shelly Kawut, and many nieces and nephews.Memorial services will be Sunday 2:30 from the Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels Highway, Hwy 35, Ocean Township. In lieu of flowers donations to the ASPCA would be appreciated.
