Melvin Israel, 76, of Long Branch passed away on January 2, 2016 at Monmouth Care Center in Long Branch. Born in Irvington, New Jersey he lived in Newark before moving to Long Branch. He studied at Penn State University and was a self employed Architect as the owner of Israel Design Group, in Long Branch. He was predeceased by his sister Rochelle Weiner. Surviving are his children Betsy Dooley, Peter Feinblatt, and Sara-Jane Feinblatt, his adored grandchildren, Matthew and Lauren Dooley and Nieces Loren Goldman, and Amy Friedman. Graveside Services will be held at Beth Israel Cemetery, on Tuesday, January 5, 2015 at 1:00 pm. In Lieu of Flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
