She was born and lived in Brooklyn, NY for 36 years before moving to Oakhurst 31 years ago.
She was a member of Temple Beth Miriam in Elberon, NJ where she was a beloved Hebrew School teacher and B’nai Mitzvah tutor for over 20 years. Rosalyn was also a long time crossing guard for the Ocean Township school system.
Mrs. Nagel is survived by her husband Larry of 43 years; her son and daughter-in-law, Rabbi Scott Nagel and Rabbi Randi Nagel of Baltimore, MD; her daughter and son-in-law Heidi and Mark Ingerman of Newton, MA; her brother Steven Schwartz of Poughkeepsie, NY; her four grandchildren, Daniel, Lev and Ari Nagel and Rebecca Ingerman.
Services are 12:00pm Monday at Temple Beth Miriam, 180 Lincoln Ave. Elberon, NJ with interment to follow at Temple Beth Miriam Memorial Park, Neptune, NJ.
