

Rose Latona Taddeo, age 88, of Manalapan, New Jersey, formerly of Jensen Beach, Florida; Deer Park, New York; Chicago, Illinois; and Morgantown, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2026.
Born in Bagheria, Sicily, Italy, Rose was the beloved daughter of Gaetano and Elisa Latona. She built a life defined by devotion to her family, hard work, and unwavering faith. Rose enjoyed a long and successful career as an Executive Assistant at Dan River Textiles in New York City, where she worked faithfully for 30 years before retiring to Jensen Beach, Florida.
Rose was a loving wife, stepmother, grandmother, and aunt, and a woman of deep Catholic faith. She found joy in cooking for those she loved, sharing laughter, and praying daily for her relatives. Her warmth, generosity, and sense of humor left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, John Taddeo; her parents, Gaetano and Elisa Latona; her sister, Anna Longo, and her husband Tony; her brother, Salvatore Latona; her brother-in-law, Martin O’Connor; and her nephew, James O’Connor.
Rose is survived by her step-sons, Steven Taddeo and his wife Donna, and Douglas Taddeo; her sister-in-law, Pietra Latona; her brothers, Anthony Latona and his wife Luisa, and Frank Latona and his wife Theresa; her sister, Mary Zisko and her husband Ron; her grandchildren, Michelle Kielbasa and her husband Chris, Danielle Pericone and her husband Mike, Cherilyn Traina and her husband Ed, Kaitlyn Coughlan and her husband Jimmy, and Jack Taddeo; her nieces and nephews, Joseph Longo, Luisa Campobasso and her husband John, Marianna Gigele and her husband Rick, Catherina Green and her husband Kim, Luisa Longo, Regina Cassavoy and her husband Scott, Elisa Dahill and her husband Bob, Lori Papandrea and her husband Chris, and Guy Latona and his wife Nicole; and several great-grandchildren, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Bloomfield Cooper Funeral Home, 2130 NJ-35, Ocean, New Jersey 07712.
Burial will follow in Stuart, Florida.
Rose will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
