Nyoka Gayle Fortner Day

Nyoka Gayle Fortner Day, age 64, of Glen Fork, went to be with her Lord on Friday November 21, 2014. Born November 15, 1950 in Glen Rogers, she was the daughter of the late Zina G. Fortner and Mary T. Fortner.She was a member of the Christ Cathedral Church in Iaeger. Nyoka enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Michael S. Day, Sr.Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Michael S. Day, Jr. of Glen Fork; daughters, Stepheny M. Day, and Patience M. Williams and her husband Bobby both of Glen Fork; 3 grandchildren, Makayla J. Burkey, Eli G. Williams, and Demetrius J. Williams; 1 great granddaughter Peyton E. Burkey; 3 sisters, Zianna Day, Lexie Morgan and Patricia Sutherland. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 25 at the Evans Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Russell King officiating.
