Sharp, Betty Bryson, 79, a home maker and loving mother, passed away November 21, 2014 at St. Paul University Hospital in Dallas, Texas of complications related to a recent stroke. Funeral services: 10 AM Saturday November 29, 2014 at Hubbard Kelly Funeral Home Chapel, burial following at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Betty was born July 9, 1935 to Hubert Bryson and Gladys Bryson in Hamilton County, Texas. Betty was previously employed with Western Union in Odessa. She was a graduate of Hamilton High School class of 1952 and moved to Odessa in 1955. She was an active member of Vine Baptist Church in Odessa.
Betty is survived by two sons Paul Sharp of Bedford, Texas and Mike Sharp of Odessa, Texas, a sister Barbara Ferguson of Fort Worth Texas and numerous nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her husband Jesse Duane Sharp and parents Hubert Bryson and Gladys Bryson and her cherished Golden Retriever Spud. Services entrusted to Hubbard Kelly funeral home. The family will receive visitors at Hubbard Kelly funeral home from 5PM – 7 PM Friday November 28, 2014.
