

Billy Paul Weeden, age 81, passed away early Saturday morning, February 21, 2015, at Deerings Nursing Home in Odessa.
No services are scheduled however he will be buried at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Bill was born November 29, 1933, in Odessa, to Otto A. and Pirlie I. Weeden. He married Juanita June Hudson on December 25, 1952, in Andrews. Bill wore many hats in his lifetime; oilfield, derrick, welder, mechanic, and antique car, boat, and tractor restoration. He loved to ride 4-wheelers. He also raised Morgan horses, showed Western and English, drove buggy horses and won many first place trophies.
Bill was in the Vietnam War for a short period of time in 1957. He was honorably discharged with a medical discharge. He did not go to war but was shipped all around by thirteen different stations from Texas, to California, to Seattle, WA, back to California, to Camp McCoy, WI, and back to Texas.
He was born a Texan, traveled to California, and then back to Texas. Once a Texan, always a Texan, and he died a Texan. He moved back to Texas so his son could be born a Texan.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his one and only brother Virgil Albert Weeden of Denver, CO.
Bill is survived by his wife of 62 years, Juanita Weeden; son Gary Weeden of _______________; granddaughter Kimberly Martinez of _____________; two great-granddaughters Juliana and Jayla Martinez of Sherman, TX; and two nephews Danny Weeden of Las Vegas, NV, and Kevin Weeden of South Carolina.
