He was a truck driver for 35 years and then he worked for Ector County Library. In his retirement he enjoyed woodworking, remodeling his home, and talking to people.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents Irving and Cora Ellen Brown; a brother Keith and a sister Ruth.
He leaves behind his loving wife Bertha V. Adam; two brothers, David and Paula Brown from West TX and Kenneth and Denni Brown of Gold Bar, WA; one son, Jimmy and Chris James of Walla Walla, WA; one daughter, Joellen Haines of Pasco, WA; three step children, Jessie Jo Abalos of Rankin, Andres A. Abalos and Consuelo A. Abalos of Odessa, TX. Bobby also leaves behind 20 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and a great mother in law that he loved very much, Francisca L. Ruiz.
Donations in his memory may be given to Shriners Children's Hospital.
The family would like to offer a special Thank you to Miriam Scott and everyone who brought food and sent their condolences in this time of grief. It was all greatly appreciated.
A private memorial was held at home.
