Bobbye Sue Edwards Ground

Family visitation will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 pm on Sunday, March 20, 2016, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, March 21, 2016, at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel with the Reverend Mike Bartlett officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens

Bobbye Sue was born in Baird, TX, on March 1, 1930, to Robert and Myrtle Edwards. She had lived in Odessa since 1959, working for Johnn Drilling Co for 20 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Aubrey Ground, son Robert Ground, and sister Dr. Verna Mae Crutchfield.

She is survived by her son Norman Ground and wife, Judy of Burleson, TX, and niece Mary Handelsman of Ketchum, ID.

Bobbye Sue loved the Lord and served Him in many ways over the years. She was a member of Greenfield Acres Baptist Church.

Very Special Thanks to her caregivers at Parks Assisted Living and to Compass Hospice, who lovingly cared for her until the end.
