Carl Simpson Wight

Carl Simpson Wight, 79, of Goldsmith passed away Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Medical Center Hospital. She was born April 6, 1933 in Pecos to Quintin Earl & Hattie Louise (Martin) Simpson. She graduated from Odessa `High School in 1950. She was a homemaker and a member of Antioch Christian Church. She married Arthur Wight June 11, 1951 in Odessa.

She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Arthur William Wight of Goldsmith, son, Bill Wight & wife Rhonda, daughters, Judy Jordan & husband Don of Goldsmith, Susie Wight of Ft. Worth, (2) grandchildren, Jason Wight & wife Amanda , Jessica Washington & husband Tyler, (3) great-grandchildren, Bailey Wight, Colton Wight & Braydon Washington.

There will be a visitation Sunday, January 6, 2013 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 7, 2013 at Antioch Christian Church with Rev. Don Fankhauser officiating. Interment will follow at Ector County Cemetery.
