In the Arms of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is to be found My Beloved Husband, Father ;Grandfather and Brother Concepcion “Chon” Botas Garcia Jr. Surrounded by his loving family Mr. Garcia was met in Our Heavenly Kingdom by his beloved Parents: Concepcion & Carolina D. Garcia Sr.; Brother: Johnny Garcia, and Grandson: Robert Garcia Urias.. Chon as known to all of us was 80 and of Odessa, Surrounded by his loving family, Mr Garcia passed away Thursday January 20, 2011 at The Home Hospice House Facility. He was born December 13,1930 in Ft. Davis, Texas to Concepcion Sr. and Carolina D. Garcia. He united in marriage to the love of his life Cruz Gomez on September 16, 1955 in Ft. Stockton, Texas. He was a Skilled Carpenter and a Christian Catholic. Mr. Garcia is survived by the love of his life; Wife Cruz G. Garcia of Odessa, Sons; Jimmy Garcia (Veronica) of Odessa, Larry Garcia of Odessa, Daughters Frances Gaytan (Oscar) of Odessa, Sandra Garza (Rey)of Odessa, Margaret Sadler (Mike)of Midland, Brenda Garcia, Teresa Garcia both of Odessa, Brothers; Joe Garcia ( Isabel) of Ft. Davis, Ernest Garcia (Eva) of Pecos; Sisters; Juanita Vijil (Leo) of Las Cruces Nmx., Bertha Terrazas of El Paso, Enedina Lopez(Lawrence)of California, Mary Lou Hernandez (Juan) of Chicago,Ill,15 Grandchildren, and 12 Great-Grandchildren and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Many Friends. We the Garcia Gomez Family with a heartfelt embrace would like to take this time and express our utmost sincere gratitude to each and every one of you for all your Prayers, Floral, Food offerings and especially your presence with us during this most difficult time. A special gratitude to the Dr`s, nurses and staff at Home Hospice for all the wonderful loving care given to my beloved Husband, Father, and Grandfather. May God Bless You All Abundantly. Pallbearers will be Johnny Ray Muniz, Eric Muniz, Omar Muniz, Dominque Garcia, Danny Garcia, and Mike Sadler. Visitation will be held from 1pm to 9 pm with a rosary being recited at 7PM Today Sunday January 23,2011 at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel. Mass Will be celebrated at 2PM Monday January 24,2011 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Uecker officiating, burial to follow at Ector County Cemetery Los Angeles Section.
