Debbie Kay Savage

Debbie Kay Savage, 56, of Odessa went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 in Lubbock after a difficult battle with a lengthy illness for the last 10 months . She was born April 30, 1959 in Temple, TX to Winford and Barbara Herring. She was a bus monitor for Ector County School District for 11 years. She enjoyed working with special needs children. She married Ricky Savage July 19, 1990 in Odessa.

She is survived by her husband Ricky Savage of Odessa, her parents, Winford Herring of Kosse, TX & Barbara Herring Jones of Odessa, her daughters, Kayla McIntosh & Jessica Craven & her husband Lance all of Odessa, brothers, Tim Herring & wife Melody of Odessa, Ricky Herring & wife Cassie of Brownwood, sister, Melissa Hodges of Odessa, sisters-in-law, Teresa Sullivan, Carolyn Wilson & Salada Evans, grandson, Kaiden Slate, uncles, Tom & Leroy Tyler, aunt, Pat Tomastik & numerous nieces & nephews.

A visitation will be 3 pm to 5 pm Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 am Monday, August 24 at Cornerstone Assembly of God Church. Interment will follow at Ector County Cemetery with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating.
