Dock Richard Clark

Dock Richard (Dick) Clark. After a yearlong hard fight with cancer, Dad has gone home to be with our mother on 11/18/2017. He was born on May 5th, 1936 to Oma and Dock Clark in Flomot Texas. He met the love of his life for 52 years, Beverly Clark In Odessa while dancing at the Stardust Club in Odessa and were married on June 26th, 1965, and continued their love of dancing through out there life together. Alongside of his wife and two sons he started and operated his business of 45 years, Air Comfort Heating and Air Conditioning, which Dale will try to continue his legacy. Dick was blessed to have worked beside many great men and develop many loyal customers who many over the years have become good friends. He was a devoted Father, mentor, and teacher to his sons Kent and Dale that have both grown up working alongside him learning a trade and many life lessons which we will forever be grateful. We have both been showed unconditional love, and are grateful for the knowledge and lessons learned throughout our lives. Dad has left this world way to soon and has left a void which can never be filled. He was blessed to have two granddaughters, which he has been very proud to watch grow into outstanding and beautiful young women. One of his most favorite memories was when they would help him sell his pears and aloe vera each year. Dick was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Beverly Clark, Brother Wayne Clark, Sister Virginia Dudley, Dad is survived by his two sons, Kent Clark and his Daughter Amanda of Odessa and Dale Clark and his daughter Megan of Odessa, Brother Pete Clark and wife Marita of Springfield Missouri, Lou Hill of Odessa, Joyce Herriage of Levelland, Betty Taylor of Wichita Kansas, Annie Merritt of Houston, Very special Friend Glenna Anderson and many Nieces and Nephews. We would like to thank the numerous close friends that have come to help us during Dads final days, Dr. Raja Naidu, The Staff at All People Hospice of Odessa, Craig Lomax and Javier Gonzales.Visitation will be held Tuesday November 21, 2017 at Hubbard Kelly Funeral Home Chapel from 7:00Pm till 9:00Pm. In lieu of flowers make memorial contributions to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society. Services entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
