

Donna Marie Taylor went to be with her Savior and Lord on Tuesday February 25,2014. She resided in Odessa Texas, since 1957. Donna grew up in Illinois, spending much of her summers on the Illinois River. She loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. Her other loves were horses, hunting, all water sports, animals, and traveling. During her lifetime, she traveled to many countries with her husband, Frank.
She and Frank Married in 1966, and lived in the country on the homestead friends and family called the Funny Farm. They had horses, chickens, ducks, wild birds, dogs, cats and bees. They even had a goat until he did a dance on their new vehicle.
Donna was a member of Temple Baptist Church and she her husband were very active in teaching 2nd and 3rd grade Sunday School. Later they continued sharing their faith on many missionary trips with Crossroads Fellowship.
She owned and operated Wallace Photography Studio for many years. For over 25 years Donna was a Mary Kay consultant. She gained many friends and won many awards, including a fur coat. After retiring from Wallace Photography Studio, she went on to volunteer with the Presidential Museum and the Republican Woman of Odessa.
Donna was proceeded in death by both her parents, Howard Russell Jr. and Mildred Lucille McClelland Russell Ellis. she survived by her loving husband, Frank of Odessa and a sister, Marilyn Miller, of Springfield, Illinois, her daughter, Brenda Barber and her husband, Rick. She is also survived by her stepchildren, Dan Taylor , Norma Battenfield and her husband, Rusty, Dave Taylor and his wife Sheron, 5 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, 4 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.
Donna wanted all to know “God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 pm Friday February 28, 2014 at Crossroads Fellowship with Reverend; David Newton officiating. Interment to be held privately at a later date.
