Elizabeth Ann Snapp

Elizabeth (Beth) Ann Snapp entered heaven’s gates on Tuesday, September 10, 2013. She was a member of the Antioch Christian Church. She was born to J.R. and June Watkins in Odessa, on April 6, 1959.

Beth was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Snapp and parents, J.R. and June Watkins.

Beth worked for the latter part of her life as a teacher’s aide for Ector County ISD, but most recently at Matt Benton Trucking Company.

Although Beth is no longer with us her memory and legacy will be kept alive through her family and friends she leaves behind, which include her sons: Josh Snapp of Odessa and Chris Snapp and Brittani McCain of Odessa. She had five precious grandchildren: Grayson, Sierra, Aaron, Sawyer, and Kyndal.

Beth is also survived by her sisters and their husbands: Reba and Ron Prichard of Odessa, Vicki and David Bundick of Wimberly, and Pam and Mark King of Odessa and a host of nieces and nephews, long-time friends and neighbors.

Beth graduated from Permian High School in 1977 and loved football, baseball, was a devoted follower of her sons and grandchildren’s sports. She enjoyed playing cards, dancing and music. Anyone that knew Beth knew she never met a stranger. She loved visiting with people; she revealed a genuine sense of caring for those around her and had a compassionate heart.

There will be a visitation on Friday, September 13, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. A Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Home in Odessa.
