Florence Stafford

Florence Stafford was born on July 14, 1937 to Herlee and Ethel Mae Bonner in Colorado City, TX. She was called home on August 12, 2012 to await the first resurrection unto eternal life. Florence was a member of King Solomon Baptist Church under the direction of Rev. George T. Garnett where she served as one of the founders and faithful servant participating in the choir as well as piano player and secretary. Florence honored and valued her relationship with the Lord. She was also a certified nurse’s aide where she passionately served as caregiver. She was preceded in death by her father Herlee Bonner, mother, Ethel Mae Thompson, husband James Stafford, son Ricky Willis Stafford and great granddaughter Eladah Marche Morris. She leaves to cherish her daughters, Charlotte Williams of Midland, Irene Higgins of Midland, son Richard Stafford of Odessa, brother Burl Bonner of Midland, Cousin Ophelia Smith of Roswell NM as well as 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Services will be held at 2:00pm Today Wednesday August 15, 2012 at King Solomon Baptist Church (located at 903 Bunche St. Odessa, Texas) with Rev. George T. Garnett officiating, Interment to follow at Ector County Cemetery Rosehill Section. Services under the direction of Odessa Funeral Home
