Gregoria "Goya" Almodova

Ms. Almodova 92, of Odessa, Surrounded by her loving family, passed away Saturday July 25, 2015 at Medical Center Hospital. She was born November 28, 1922 in Shafter, Texas to Leonardo Cabrera an d Isabel Ortiz. She was a Christian Catholic and a Homemaker.

She is preceded in death by Husband Alfonso Almodova Sr., Parents Leonardo and Isabel Cabrera.

She is survived by Sons; Lorenzo Corralez of Odessa, Alfonso “Al” Almodova wife Viola of Odessa, Rafael wife Celestina Almodova of Odessa; Daughters; Graciela Almodova of Odessa, Angelina Almodova Molinar of Las Vagas, Nevada, Brother; Jesus Cabrera of Odessa, 13 Grandchildren, 6 Great-Grandchildren, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Many Friends.

We the Almodova Family, would like to take this time and express our utmost sincere gratitude to each and everyone of you for all your prayers, floral arrangements, food, offering and especially your presence with us during this most difficult time. Pallbearers will be: Christopher Corralez, Bryan Corralez, Alex Almodova, Roel Cadena, Gilbert Fuentez Jr., and Stevan Molinar.

Visitation will begin today Tuesday July 28, 2015 from 8am to 9pm with a Rosary at 7pm at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel.

Mass will be celebrated at 10am Wednesday 29, 2015 at St. Joseph`s Catholic Church.

Interment to follow at Ector County Cemetery RoseHill Section.
