James William Bryce

James W. Bryce, 84, of Odessa passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017 at his residence. He was born February 6. 1933 in Center, Texas to Marvin Henry and Emma (McLeroy) Bryce. James came to Odessa with his parents at the age of 5. He was owner of Royal Towell Company. He was a US Army Veteran. James loved his family, and believed in honoring your word at all cost. James was a loving, caring big brother. James was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Linda Bryce, second wife Norma Bryce, & his last wife Doris Bryce, and son J.W. Bryce Jr. He is survived by his sons, Patrick T. Bryce & wife, Patricia of Midland, Ryan A. Bryce of Odessa , his best friend “Boogie”, sisters, Melinda “Peanut” Hanson & husband David of Henderson, NV, Melba Lynn McGrath & husband Roy of Beaumont, TX (2) grandchildren, Jay Taylor Bryce & Emma Ashley Bryce. James will lie in state 9:00 am- 9:00 pm Tuesday, December 19 and Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday December 20 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with REv. Wayne Woody officiating. Interment will follow at Ector County Cemetery. Services entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
