James D. Cogburn II, age 44, passed away Saturday, August 28, 2010, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Odessa, TX.
He was born May 25, 1966, to James D. and Ann (Batchelor) Cogburn in Seagraves, TX. He graduated from Hobbs High School and later served in the U.S. Army. He was employed at 4C Construction.
He is survived by his dad, James Cogburn and wife, Shirley of Hobbs, NM; his mother, Ann Cogburn of Texas City, TX; son, James D. Cogburn III of Odessa; daughters, Marissa Cogburn of Rockwall, TX; and Charlotte Hall and husband, Justin of Coffman, TX; sisters, Suzana Welch and husband, Brian of Goshen, OH; and Judith Richardson and husband, Mike of Cornell, WI.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 1, 2010, at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating.
