James Ogle Shipman

Ogle was born on November 14, 1934 in Buffalo Gap, TX to C.C. and Vera Shipman. Ogle was a resident of Gardendale, TX since 1975. He was an electrician by trade and previously employed by J & K Electric and Foreman Electric.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Audrey Hefley and Wanda Jones, and two brothers Curtis Shipman and Manuel Shipman.

He is survived by his wife Donna, sons Terry and wife Liz of Gardendale, Bobby and wife Cathy of Ruidoso, NM and Jimmy and wife Tami of Iraan, TX. He is also survived by his sisters Shirley Acton, Rita Russell, Charlotte Balding and Sandy Ford, one brother Kenneth and wife Minnie Shipman, Seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be held at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Monday, July 16, 2018 from 6:30 pm to 8:30pm.

Graveside services will be at the Kendrick Cemetery in Clyde, TX on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 2:00 pm.
