James "Bruce" Storie was born in Lubbock, TX April 30, 1950. He moved to Odessa when he was 5 years old. He married his wife Vickie, May 15, 1998. He had his own stucco and plastering business for many years. He enjoyed working with his hands. He loved music. At one time he played violin for the Midland/Odessa symphony orchestra. He is survived by his wife Vickie Storie, his daughter Jennifer Storie, grandson Kean. His sister Tanya Searcey, nephews Brett and Mathew and his niece Martha. He loved his family and his extended family.
He is preceded in death by his father Bill Storie and mother Juanita.
He loved God, and his country. He is greatly loved and will never be forgotten.
A Celebration of Life service for Bruce will be held Friday, January 17, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home, 601 North Alleghaney, Odessa, TX 79761. Following the Celebration of Life service will be a Burial/Committal Service at Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home, 6801 E, Odessa, TX 79762.
