Jason Roy Yeilding

Jason Roy Yeilding, 33, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2015 in San Antonio., TX. He was born August 27, 1981 in Odessa to Beth Yeilding & Joe Hinojos, Jr. He made a profession of faith in vacation Bible School at the age of 9. He recently moved to San Antonio to be closer to his children who were his world. Prior to his move he was employed with Wagner Supply as a delivery driver.

He was a loving, caring man who never met a stranger. He would always give wherever needed always putting others feelings before his own. His greatest love was his mom and his three children. He loved to be the party starter and was quick to fire up the grill. A game of spades, dominoes, or a game of pool with his family and friends is what he liked to do. He was a die hard Dallas Cowboy fan who would defend them to the end. He would give the “other” team fans a hard time, “win, lose, or tie, a Cowboy fan till the day I die!”

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather/dad, Kenneth Yeilding; his paternal grandmother, Minerva Jones & paternal grandfather, Joe Hinojos, Sr.

Leaving to cherish his memories are his parents, Beth Yeilding & Joe Hinojos, Jr. (Ana); his grandmother, Patsy Yeilding; brothers, Keenan Mosby & Andrew Hinojos; sister, Melanie Jepson (David); his children, Dontrell, JaNya, Makayle Yeilding of Houston. He is also survived by his aunts, Lisa Dillard, Renee Treadwell (Greg), Lydia Jackson (Chris), Rebecca Hinojos & Christina Hinojos; uncles, Michael Hinojos & Keith Hinojos; cousins, Jeremy Yeilding, Ryan Dillard, Kelsey Wolf, Stephen Phillips, Stephanie Phillips, Krista Jackson.. He is also survived by his “brothers at heart”, Nevatiny Berry, Jaime McCoy, Ray Moses, Sh’Caris Searcy & Chris Reese, these “brothers” were so instrumental in his life and he loved them unconditionally!

A visitation with family & friends will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. A going home celebration and service will be held 10:00 am Friday, April 24, 2015 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Don Morris officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
