Johnny Edmund Kirby, age 79, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2016,
at Deerings Nursing Home in Odessa.
He was born May 9, 1937, to Nathan Bryant and Pearl (Davis) Kirby in Wink, Texas.
He served in the U.S. Air Force,
and was a truck driver in the oilfield industry.
He was Baptist.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his brother Nathan Kirby of Odessa;
sisters Mildred Evans of Mesa, AZ, and Louise Smith of Odessa.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 9:00 pm on Monday,
September 26, 2016, at Odessa Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on
Tuesday, September 27, 2016, at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel,
with Rev. Mike Bartlett officiating.
Interment will follow in the Los Angeles Garden of the Ector County Cemetery.
