ozelynn was a daughter, a big sister, a grand daughter, a great grand daughter, a niece, a cousin and a friend. She had a beautiful smile and sweet spirit, she had a sassy sense of humor and loved to laugh. She enjoyed great food and being with her family, she sang with a beautiful voice, she had an artistic talent to paint, she loved butterflies, her jewelry, and her puppy. She had a knack for mothering the children around her with such care and love, she had a flare for saying what was on her mind, and she always had concern for others, especially her parents. Jozelynn was our "Beautiful Warrior Girl" who loved the Lord, loved her life, and loved her family with everything she had. She made a lot of wonderful, caring and loving friends along her difficult journey. She fought for every single day of her precious life with such courage, strength, and grace, despite the many challenges that came her way. She was filled with so much perseverance, even in the midst of all her suffering and pain. She absolutely loved her little sisters, her little brother, and her Daddy. She shared a special bond with her Mother, her very best friend, Reshall, who never left her side from day one. Jozelynn left a giant imprint on our hearts and in our lives. We were so blessed to have her, if only for a while. She will forever remain with us, she will be missed, and will be loved always.
If anyone belongs to Christ, there is a new creation. The old things have gone; everything is made new! (2 Corinthians 5:17 - This is the scripture that God gave to Jozelynn on the last day of her life on earth.)
Even before I was born, God had chosen me to be His. (Galatians 1:15)
No matter the outcome and come what may, God is alway's victorious. We will never be defeated. God has a plan for all of us and if he decides to bring us to his house, it is with love and the promise of eternal life with him and his angels, in a beautiful place we call heaven.
Thank you to all our family and friends for all your prayer's, genorous hearts, love and support throughout our daughter's battle. We will forever be grateful. With all our love, The Castillo and Varela Family.
