Kenneth Boyd Franklin

He was born August 23, 1963, to Boyd Clifton and Nancy (Williams) Franklin in Odessa. He married Diana Sasser on April 18, 1985, in Odessa and was a service tech for Atmos Energy. He was a member of Life Change Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his father, and his in-laws Joe and JoeVeta Sasser.

He is survived by his wife, Diana Franklin; mother, Nancy Franklin; sons, Brandon Franklin and wife, Chelsea and Chad Franklin; two sisters, Cindy Whitley and husband, Jack, all of Odessa; and Beverly Robertson and husband, George of Midland; four nephews, Justin and Todd Whitley, Adam Cooper and Thomas Sasser; and three nieces, Meagan Spaulding, Sara Calvin, and Jaqulyn Sasser.

A family visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 17, 2012, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 18, 2012, at Life Change Baptist Church with Rev. Stephen Humphreys officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Franklin, Chad Franklin, Jack Whitley, Justin Whitley, George Robertson, and Clifton Steddum.
