Kenneth Howard Hedger

Kenneth Howard Hedger, 84, of Odessa passed away Monday, February 9, 2015 at Medical Center Hospital. He was born December 7, 1930 in Lead, SD to Shipley & Ada May Hedger. He married Joyce Helen Hanvy December 7, 1948 in Plainview, TX. He was a retired crane operator for Ref-Chem.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Irene Ray, & brother Eugene Hedger. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Helen Hedger of Odessa, son, Kenneth Howard Hedger Jr of Midland; daughters, Rickey Nell Crawford & husband Jesse of Odessa, Mary Elizabeth Davidson of San Angelo; brother, Alpha Lee Hedger & wife Sandra of Possum Kingdom; (6) grandchildren, Tammy Middlebrook, Michelle Crawford, Jesse Crawford Jr, Brandon Carter, Michael Carter & Lisa Carter; (12) great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

He will lie in state from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
