Landers Eugene Jones III

He was born to Landers & Beatrice Jones on February 19, 1952. He attended Ector High School, where he graduated in class of 1971. He spent most of his life catering to others through food. He loved watching wrestling and spending time with family and being Kind of the BBQ pit.

He is preceded in death by his parents Landers Eugene Jones, Jr. and Beatrice Paro-Bracy Jones; 3 sisters, Doris Haynes Cooper, Yvonne B. Jones-McGee and Lydia Ann Jones.

He is survived by 2 sons, Landers Eugene Jones IV and Vinson L. Jones; 6 daughters, Shalonda L. Jones, Landrea E. Hastings (Jimmy), Wykhiva D. Oliver, Debbie A. Dent (Eddie), Porsha J. Jones and Tabitha J. Baldwin (Riley); One sister, Junell Jones-Pearson; 2 brothers, Lonnie L. Jones, Sr. (Bellen) and Bryace T. Jones (Melanie); 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces nephews, aunts/uncles, cousins and friends.

A visitation for Landers will be held Friday, July 7, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home, 601 N Alleghaney Ave, Odessa, Texas 79761.
