She was united in holy matrimony to Michael L. Shields on May 11, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Leah was baptized in the Catholic Church in Odessa, TX and gave her spirit to God.
On Friday, May 15th 2015 at 6:00pm, Leah Marie’s journey on this earth came to an end. Because this was not her home. For you see she was just a traveler on her way to that quiescence place that was promised. She has entered another land, not seen by the earthly eyes of man A new beginning.
Leah’s Mother, Jacqueline and Father John Jacoby preceded her in death.
Leah will bathe in the sweetness of God’s loving grace and His everlasting peace. She’s no longer a presence on this earthly universe, where her life was projected for forty years, which we are thankful, we were blessed. Now, she’s not climbing the mountains on the rough side but at peace in the lilies of the valley, where her spirit will soar and she will rest now, from her travels in Jesus’ care.
The smile of sunshine, that we all knew so well is gone from view, but not forgotten. In her departure on the train of salvation. She leaves to cherish, to remember and celebrate her life two sons, Deion who is a Marine in the military based in South Carolina, Emilio who attends Monahans High School in Monahans, one step-son, Michael J.
