

She was born on April 12, 1933, to Robert Moran and Frances Lee in Boston, MA. Lois proudly served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War. During her 25 years with the Ector County Independent School District, she worked at Permian High School and Ector High School.
Lois was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She was a kind and gentle soul with a talent for talking with people and making them feel at ease. She always had a twinkle in her eye and a sense of humor that endeared her to many but especially to her grandchildren who adored her. She will be deeply missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents Robert Moran and Frances Lee Moran, her ex-husband Joe White, Jr. and her granddaughter Kimberly Dawn Turner.
She is survived by her son Robert White and wife JJ of Coppell, Texas, daughter Carol Johnson and husband Mark of Midland, Texas; her sister Marjorie McFarlin of Fishkill, N.Y.; her beloved grandchildren Matthew White and wife Meredith, Brandon White and wife Ashley, Katie Hansen and husband Lawton, Stevie Johnson, Cole Johnson and nephews Stephen McFarlin, Michael McFarlin, Richard McFarlin and Christopher McFarlin.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 18, 2015, at the DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, TX.
