Martha Faye Myers

Martha Faye Myers, 73, of Odessa, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2011 in Odessa, TX. She was born on April 26, 1937 in Canyon, TX to Beulah and Charles Steen. She was married to Charles Edwin ‘Buddy’ Myers on May 21, 1954 in Clovis, NM. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Charles Edwin Myers Jr.; brothers, Buster Merle Steen and Anthony Morris Steen and a sister, Charlotte Mavis Carthel. She is survived by daughters, Leslie Faye Grizzell and her husband Woodie of San Antonio; Tami Orren and her husband Don of Odessa; a son, Jeff Myers and his wife Karen of Odessa; sisters, Mildred Josephine Carthel, Eunice Marie Carney and Monita Benham; brothers, Louis Steen and Buddy Mac Steen; grandchildren, Crystal Hughes and her husband Ryon; Stephanie Orren, K.C. Orren, Jennifer Myers, Jamie Myers, Charles Myers and his wife Blaise; all of Odessa; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Cody, Keely and Karly Hughes and Legend Slate Myers, all of Odessa; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Odessa Funeral Home on Sunday, March 27, 2011.Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2011 at Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Memory Gardens of Amarillo, 14200 Interstate 27 in Amarillo, Texas. Family suggests memorials to Hospice House of Odessa 903 N. Sam Houston.
