Mary Jane "Jana" Eaton

Jana Eaton, 80, of Odessa passed away Monday, April 6, 2015 at Medical Center Hospital.

She was born September 27, 1934 in Maud, Oklahoma to King and Martha Lawson.

She was a devoted wife, beloved mother, foster mother to over 300 children, friend to all and a member of West Odessa First Baptist Church, where she joyfully served the congregation in several capacities for over forty years.

She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings and her husband Bill J. Eaton Sr.

She is survived by her sons, Billy Jack Eaton Jr. and spouse Joanie of San Antonio, Texas, Michael Wayne Eaton and spouse Lynda of Midland, Texas, Lance Eaton and spouse Toy of Crane, Texas; a sister, Emma Kalka of Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, Michael Eaton, Jr. of San Antonio, Texas, Joshua Eaton of Midland, Texas, Caleb Eaton of Monahans, Texas, Chelsea and Amber Eaton of Crane, Texas, Joshua Houseman of Odessa, Texas, Jacob Houseman of Houston, Texas, and Joel Houseman of San Antonio, Texas, eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 10, 2015 at West Odessa First Baptist Church, Rev Glenn Clark officiating. Services entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
