

Our precious 'Mama' left this earthly life in the early morning hours of October 7. In God's infinite mercy, He answered our prayers in that her last months were peaceful, calm, pain-free & cared for in the comforts of her home.
No viewing or formal visitation is planned. An informal celebration of her life in a brief graveside service is scheduled Monday, October 10 at 2pm. Our long-time family friend & brother in Christ, Jimmy Braswell, will officiate.

Mary was born April 19 1924 in Dallas Tx. She graduated from Winnsboro High School in 1942. She married Wm Forrest Maddox Sept 22 1944 in Quitman thus beginning married life as an oilfield wife. Life in West Texas & SE New Mexico towns yielded life-long, treasured friendships.
Life revolved around family, church, & friends. The greatest gift is giving of one's self & the joy felt in giving. Her entire life was steadfastly consistent to that belief.
Mary was predeceased by her parents, Ruby & Arthur Robinson, & our dad, Wm Forrest Maddox.
Mourning our loss yet cherishing sweet memories are her Brother, Don T & Sue Robinson. Son, WF 'Dub' & Sheila Maddox. Daughter, Vickie Kay Maddox. Grandson, William O &Heather with daughters Haylee, Emily, & Lelia. Granddaughter, Vicki L Maddox. Mother of her grandchildren, Debbie Maddox, the Maddox extended family, & a multitude of friends.
