Mildred Roberts (Midge), as many of her friends knew her, was born September 15, 1923 to Harrison and Ola Webster in Avant, OK. She graduated high school in Oklahoma and was married to Edwin Roberts soon after graduation. She and her husband recently had achieved a milestone of 70 years of marriage. Mildred and Ed had three sons, Raymond, Gerald (deceased at age of two), and Michael. Mildred along with Michael their youngest son, helped her husband establish a successful oil related manufacturing company, “CEDCO”, for several decades. She always had a ready smile and was a consummate dresser. Mildred was well known throughout the Odessa and Midland area and was active throughout the community until her recent illness. She will be missed by her family and many friends.
She is survived by her husband Ed, her two sons, Raymond and Michael, and one great grandson, Derek.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
