Moises Mancha 58 of Odessa passed from this life on Saturday February 11, 2012 in Odessa, Tx. with his family at his side. He was born April 22, 1953 in Lovington, New Mexico to Guadalupe & Maria De La Cruz Mancha. He united in marriage to Hortencia Cortez April 19, 1986 here in Odessa, He was a Christian Catholic and an electrician in the Construction Industry. He is preceded in death by Son: Jeremy Cortez, Daughter: Melissa Mancha; Father: Guadalupe O. Mancha, Both: Paternal & Maternal Grandparents: Aristeo & Petra Mancha., Pedro & Catarina De La Cruz. He leaves behind to cherish his memories Wife Hortencia C. Mancha of Odessa, Mother: Maria De La Cruz Mancha of Odessa, Sons: Casey Mancha ( Martha) , Erik Mancha (Virginia) all from Odessa, Daughter: Misty M. Hogg ( Anthony Sr.) of Dallas, Tx. He also leaves behind his Brothers: Dulces Mancha (Lupe) of Odessa, Lupito Mancha (Chelo) of El Paso, Tx, Israel Mancha (Debra) of Odessa, Eddie Mancha of Odessa, Sisters: Elvira Huerta of Hobbs, New Mexico, Cathy Balerio(Augustine) of Midland, Patsy Mancha (Evaristo),of Odessa, Belinda Dominguez (Rigo), of Odessa and Naomi Hartley (James),from Odessa, as well as his baseball team of seven grandsons and two granddaughters, and his extended family the Cortez, a Host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and Many Friends. His loved ones find comfort in knowing that he no longer suffers from the physical pain he has dealt with for the past 8 months. Our father was a very beloved man who was an avid Hot Wheel collector for 22 years. He loved to vacation in Las Vegas, and you could always find him cheering for the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers. A Rosary will be recited at 7pm Today Wednesday February 15, 2012 at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10AM Thursday February 16, 2012 at St. Joseph`s Catholic Church with Reverend: Serafin Avenido officiating. Interment to follow at Ector County Cemetery Los Angeles Gardens. Services by Odessa Funeral Home.
