Ola married Harold Williams on August 10, 1956, in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
Before opening her own business, Ola spent 20 years working as a checker at Furr's Cafeteria. She had a lifelong passion for treasure hunting at garage sales. In the 1980s and early 1990s, she operated several stalls at Henry's Flea Market. In 1994, she opened her own thrift store, Ola's Place, a beloved Odessa fixture that she proudly ran until 2020. Ola genuinely loved her customers and made many friends throughout the years her store was open.
Ola was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Williams; her parents, Bernard Achie Wallace and Velma Inez Alexander; and her brothers and sisters: Elizabeth Ann Crenshaw, Arnold Doyce Wallace, Edsel Bill Wallace, B.A. Wallace, John Henry Wallace, Gerald Edwin Wallace, Bobbie Nell Wallace Parker, Barbara Ann Wallace Cantrell, Dorothy Sue Wallace Lewis, and Betty Jean Wallace Neal.
She is survived by her loving children - Teresa Burnett, Linda Robertson and husband, Craig, Gary Williams and wife, Sarah, and Kristi Williams — as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ola will be remembered for her generosity, her hard working spirit, and her kindness. Her legacy lives on in the family she adored and the countless people she touched throughout her life.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 8, 2025, 2:00PM, at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Hospice of Midland for their support, compassion, and care throughout Ola's illness.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Midland.
