Opal Pauline Ballard, 81, of Odessa passed away Thursday, June 21, 2012 at her residence. She was born May 22, 1931 in Wichita Falls, TX to Oscar Elroy & Iva (King) Chandler. She was a homemaker. She liked shopping on TV & cooking.
She was preceded in death by her parents, & her husband Emmit Ballard.
She is survived by her son, Royce Ballard of Odessa, daughter, Clovis (Sas-c) Pranschke of Big Spring, (3) grandchildren, (8) great-grandchildren & (4) great-great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 25, 2012 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Darren Weaver officiating. Graveside service will be at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, at the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Amarillo.
