Paul Gomez

He was born July 10, 1952 to Prospero and Eduvijes Armendarez Gomez in Presidio, TX.

He lived most of his life in Odessa and worked for Weatherford. Paul was kind hearted and was sensitive to people in need. As a child he started a food ministry by taking food to those in need. He was an avid college and NFL fan. His favorite teams were the Dallas Cowboys, Oakland Raiders, LA Lakers and USC. Paul was an avid reader of the Bible and novels.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Steve Gomez, one sister, Rachel Gomez, one brother-in-law, Manuel Rodriguez Jr.

He is survived by his wife Angie, step-sons, Matthew Aragon and wife Jessica of Odessa, Anthony Gonzalez of Carlsbad, NM, Manuel Aragon and wife Bernadette of Roswell, NM daughter, Gia Marie Gomez of Seattle, WA, step-daughters Analicha Aragon of Odessa, Yvette Leos and husband Lenny of Carlsbad, NM, Renee Jimenez and husband Mago of Midland, sister, Alice Rodriguez of Odessa, eight grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Lupe and Maria Franco, father and mother in law of Loving, NM and Granddog Max of Seattle, WA.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Aragon, Ray Chavez, Anthony Gonzalez, Edan Gomez, David Rodriguez and Manuel Rodriguez III. Honorary Pallbearers are Derk Rodriguez, Mago Jimenez, Lenny Leos, Manuel Aragon, Chris Baldonado, Blake Booth, James Gomez, and Paul’s Weatherford Family.

A special thanks to Dr. Wong, Dr. George, the WTCC Staff, and the MCH 5C nurses.

Family will receive friends from 6-8pm Monday, November 3, 2014 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

Funeral will be 1pm Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at Odessa Christian Faith Center. Interment will follow at Ector County Cemetery.

Services are entrusted to Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
